4. Legal bases and purposes

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the following: your consent (for example, when you choose to submit the contact form or accept non-essential cookies); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Site and in responding to business inquiries; the performance of steps taken at your request before or during a business relationship; and compliance with our legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

5. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site functioning, remember basic preferences, and measure traffic and usage through standard web analytics. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not work as intended without them. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles about you.

6. Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers and subprocessors that help us run the Site and our business, such as hosting, analytics, email, and infrastructure providers, and only to the extent they need it to perform services for us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests from public authorities, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Ironact, our users, or others. If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to your inquiry, maintain business records, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

8. International transfers

Ironact operates in the United States and the Republic of Korea, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Consequently, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws differ from those in your country of residence. Where required, we take steps to ensure that such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, to request a portable copy of your data, and to withdraw consent. Individuals in the Republic of Korea have rights under the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), including the right to access, correct, delete, and suspend the processing of their personal information, and to be informed of how it is handled. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@ironact.net. We will respond as required by applicable law, and you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
